Open testing of the product is mainly applied when developing new products and implies consumption of product by consumer to be further interviewed in order to get their ideas on satisfaction-unsatisfaction, camparability with other products, futere purchase intentions, etc. Blind testing is sort of the experiment actively applied in marketing studies in order to know how the consumers accept certain product independently from marketing mix or brand impact. Unlike the open testing, during the blind testing consumers are unaware of the name or packaging of product and then give estimations providing so the unbiased evaluation of the product. |
